SAF sponsors close to 500 children living in poverty to ensure that they receive an education and continue to attend school. This program provides children across India with financial support on a monthly basis. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn and succeed in life, regardless of gender, caste, and religion. Our program gives children a chance to break the cycle of poverty.

Many people in India are living in extremely poor housing conditions, where a lot of homes have terrible infrastructure and no access to electricity. Unable to afford any other kind of home, families often have to live in a single room building without a proper washroom or kitchen. Our program recruits local community members of the village to do the construction for elderly couples, disabled people, and families living in extreme poverty who are in desperate need of house repairs or house rebuilds. Since the program started, SAF has completed 9 housing repair/rebuild projects.
